Dr. John Friel, MD, FACS, FASCRS
John C. Friel, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is board certified in Colon & Rectal Surgery and General Surgery. Dr. Friel earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, Worcester, MA and a fellowship at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, CT. He recently introduced his skill to the greater Brockton community after over 8 years practicing in southern New Hampshire. Dr. Friel offers comprehensive screenings and treatment for colon and rectal cancers, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of other disorders such as diverticular disease and anorectal problems. Dr. Friel uses innovative and efficient techniques that offer excellent results, fewer complications and faster recovery.
