Dr. Valentin Atanassov, MD, FACS

Valentin K Atanassov, MD, FACS, is board certified in General Surgery and has been practicing in the Brockton community for over 20 years. He earned his medical degree from the Bulgarian Medical Academy and completed his residency at New York University Medical center, New York, NY. Dr. Atanassov offers advanced minimally invasive general surgery including laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery using the latest technology from Intuitive, the Da Vinci surgical robotic system. He also offers an array of general surgical procedures including surgical treatment of endocrine disorders.
